Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to describe the implementation of the adaptive learning model in the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) subject at MTs Al-Falah Bantarsari Cilacap. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of the adaptive learning model was carried out through three stages: lesson plan preparation, learning implementation, and evaluation. First, lesson plan preparation was conducted by identifying students’ characteristics through observation as a basis for determining learning methods, media, and activities. Second, the learning process was carried out by adjusting the methods, media, and activities according to students’ responses, understanding, readiness, and participation. Students who experienced difficulties were provided with additional explanations and guidance, while those who had already understood the material were given reinforcement and motivation. Third, evaluation was conducted through student worksheets (LKPD), question-and-answer activities, group work, student participation, and reflection to improve the subsequent learning process.
