Abstract

The distribution of the Free Nutritious Meal (Makan Bergizi Gratis/MBG) at SMP Negeri 35 Padang faced problems in recording recipients, including manual attendance, duplicate recipient data, and time-consuming attendance recap. This study aims to develop an Android-based digital attendance application using QR Code to support the recording and distribution of MBG recipients. The study used field research through observation and interviews, literature study, and laboratory research for application development. System analysis and design used Unified Modeling Language (UML), while functional testing used the black-box method. The developed application provides login, student data, student QR Code attendance, QR scanning, school data, administrator data, and attendance/transaction data features. The black-box testing reported successful results for loading, login, main menu, student data input, administrator data input, QR scanning, and school data input. The application is therefore able to support digital attendance and data storage for MBG recipients according to the functions tested in the study.
